Book Review

IN THE ST. NICK OF TIME
by K.M. Daughters

Genre: Romantic Suspense, E-book
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

Daughters’ last installment of the Sullivan Boys series is a terrific read. There’s lots of family interaction and a case that will have readers scratching their heads in frustration as each lead comes up empty. The romance plot is every bit as wonderful as the rest of the story. Most entertaining of all are the brief glimpses into the killer’s thoughts that appear as disturbing poems perfectly timed for the season.

After the tragic loss of her husband two years ago, Kay Sullivan Lynch is rejoining the real world and the police force she left behind to start a family. Captain Flynn Dowd is no stranger to grief himself, with the death of his wife and son laying heavily on his mind, but he’s beginning to look forward to starting over. When these two are partnered to investigate the “Santa Slayings,” sparks fly. As the killer stays two steps ahead of them, it will take all their wits to solve this case before Santa comes to town.
