STEPPING OUT OF THE SHADOWS
STEPPING OUT OF THE SHADOWS (3) by Robyn Donald: Rafe Peveril suspects Marisa Somerville is hiding secrets from the moment he sees her. Though she reminds him of the drab, meek woman he survived a plane crash with six years ago, that hardly explains the hunger she arouses in him. Determined to uncover her secrets, Rafe takes advantage of an opportunity to move Marisa and her 5-year-old son into his home. As Marisa struggles to maintain control, Rafe tempts her to want more. Donald’s interesting idea would have been more engaging if the “secrets” were out in the open much earlier in the novel.
