Strong characters people this follow-up to The Politics of Love. The robbery storyline is well crafted and tension rises as the story unfolds. This sequel was worth the wait!

As the eldest of the Warner children, Taylor takes her role as protector of her siblings seriously. When a gunman uses her pregnant sister as a shield during a robbery, police detective Taylor's confidence is shaken.
