Casey Marshall gets run over by a car and ends up in a coma. She can neither see nor respond to the outside world, but she can hear and comprehend it. Trapped in an impenetrable darkness, Casey consistently hears the conversations of her visiting friends and family and begins to realize that not all are who they seem to be. She also learns that her accidental hit-and-run may actually have been a deliberate attempt at murder. Can she find out the truth before another attempt is made on her life?
