RT Rating

Moseley captures readers’ attention from the first page with her stellar words and writing style. This story is part fast-paced puzzle, part romantic discovery. Mystery fans will especially adore this one.

Laura Gantt has only returned to Prospect, Ga., to settle her late mother’s estate — it holds too many painful memories. But once she’s back she hears rumors that her father, who disappeared 12 years ago, is still alive and living in the woods of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Sean Halloran, a childhood friend, tries to protect Laura from the wild talk, but Laura is determined to put the rumors about her father to rest. She enlists Sean, and together they learn the truth about their past. (WATERBROOK, Feb., 352 pp., $14.99)
