STOLEN MAGIC
by Esri Rose

Genre: Fantasy, General Fantasy

RT Rating

Adlia and her crew are fierce, magical and very much human in their emotions and wishes. Each character is unique in his or her attitudes and personalities, simply adding to their quirky crew. This book weaves together the many stories of two races learning to adapt to each other's way of life, yet trying to still remain as secret as possible. It's in a league of its own!

Adlia, a lone elf unsure of her past, lives with the Kuatara, learning how to create stability for others like them, using money and property a dark elf left behind when killed. When a new elf, Fia, shows up, the rest of their group becomes nervous at her dwindling memory. Soon they're surrounded by even more strangers: an elf named Dagovar, who wishes to fight the dark elves with them, and a human, Mark, who's falling in love with Adlia.

Adlia's life is suddenly changed when Fia goes missing, another elf starts to lose his memory and they realize that someone or something is out to destroy them. (ZEBRA, May, 320 pp., $4.99)
