Image of Stork (Stork Trilogy (Hardcover))

Slow and predictable, with flat characters. Katla is shallow, her voice not strong enough to carry this reviewer through. Though the intricate folklore will entertain toward the end, a lot of the book was pointless build-up. Still, this story may satisfy diehard paranormal fans.

The last thing fashion- forward California native Katla expects to find when she moves to middle-of-nowhere Minnesota is that she’s a member of an ancient Icelandic Stork society. But when she meets Jack, editor-in-chief and quarterback, she is drawn to him, despite the fact they argue constantly, and it seems like he has a dark secret for only Katla to hear.
