Coerced into participating in her hometown's Heritage Day festivities, librarian Katie Fenton winds up "married" to her adoptive dad's new partner, developer Justin Caldwell. Then their pretend reception becomes more of a honeymoon when a blizzard traps them alone in a museum. By the time the snow plow arrives, Katie doesn't mind being Stranded With the Groom (3), but that's before she learns the truth about Justin. Christine Rimmer takes a classic premise and reworks it for the 21st century, with modest success. It's hard to sympathize with Justin's actions—or to understand how readily Katie forgives him.
