STRANGERS WHEN WE MEET (4) by Merline Lovelace: OMEGA Operative Sloan Hamilton is assigned to supervise a Russian delegation inspecting a Wyoming missile facility as part of a U.S.-Russian nuclear arms reduction treaty. Sloan discovers that delegation-member Larissa Petrovna recognizes a defense contractor who was responsible for the deaths of several Russian citizens, including her late husband, several years earlier, and now she is in grave danger. As always, Lovelace’s characters are intriguing and believable. Her descriptions of military settings and lifestyles lend extra integrity to the story. This novel is fast paced and suspenseful, with a well-developed plot.
