Unfortunately, the San Amaro Singles series gets off to a rough start. Jamieson catches the wave of a recent trend of couples who discover their love for each other only by adding a third person to their bed, although she may have been the one to start it, as this was a digital-first release. Aside from being hot, Dylan never manages to make the reader see why Corey would look past the guy she has right by her side (and in her bed). The sex is hanging 10, but the rest is all wet.

Candy maker Corey has no room in her life for a relationship. She’s busy developing her business and making sure no one ever disappoints her again. Her friends-with-benefits arrangement with microbrewery owner Matt Ferber is just fine. But when Matt’s friend, pro surfer Dylan Schell, turns up to recover from an injury, Corey finds herself attracted to Dylan as well. The only question she has now is whether her friendship with Matt will survive a steamy night with all of them together. (SAMHAIN, Mar., 288 pp., $16.00)
