Book Review

Genre: Erotic Romance, Paranormal

RT Rating

The bewildering beginning of this novel has so many fantasy terms and confusing character interactions that it leaves the reader in the dark. While some questions about who and what the characters are eventually get answered, the plot is difficult to follow. And the story's weak climax and conclusion are not satisfying.

For centuries, incubi called Watchers have lived among humans, searching for their mates. Duse rushes to find his mate, Devon, when he discovers that she's been reincarnated as
a woman named Skylar. Meanwhile, a disillusioned criminal Watcher is seducing women, even a Watcher's mate, to gain the power within their sexual energy. His seductions prove deadly to all
of his victims. To protect his mate, Duse must place a spell over Skylar before the killer gets to her, but this spell can only be conferred through sex. (ELLORAs, dl $6.49)
