SUCCUBUS BLUES

2007 Urban Fantasy Novel Nominee

RT Rating

This is an excellent paranormal featuring a strong, sexy heroine with a heart of gold -- even though she works for the supposed bad guys. With many imaginative and interesting secondary characters and a fascinating plot, this will hopefully be the first in an intriguing new series.

Georgina Kincaid is a succubus whose job it is to tempt mortals into selling their souls. Not so fond of her job, she only goes for those mortals that are considered scum. Having a relationship with a mortal is out of the question. She tends to suck away part of a man's life with just a kiss.

Then she meets famous author Seth Mortensen, whom she idolizes, and life becomes more complicated, especially since evil is coming their way and it's up to her, and her friends, to stop it. (Kensington, Mar., 368 pp., $15.00)
