Book Review

by Richelle Mead

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy
Sensuality: SCORCHER

RT Rating

The third installment in Mead's Succubus series has the usual intriguing mixture of paranormal beings. It includes plenty of action, surprising mysteries and hot sex. There's no happily-ever-after for the heroine -- yet -- but her story is far from over.

Succubus Georgina Kincaid has been having weird dreams, which leave her drained of energy. Georgina also has to deal with Tawny, a new succubus that she's mentoring, a meddlesome imp and a boyfriend she can't have sex with. Going to con artist/magician Dante Moriarty for an interpretation of her dream doesn't help. Soon things with her boyfriend get worse, and the dreams continue. Something is not right with Tawny, and there are angels in town with a secret agenda. It's not
long before it becomes apparent that Georgina is the eye of the storm. (Kensington, Oct., 320 pp., $15.00)
