If suspense is your game, your sure to love Barbara Parkers newest hardcover thriller, SUSPICION OF GUILT (4).

Attorney Gail Connor is asked by former lover Patrick Norris to investigate his late aunts will. He is sure that the will was forged and that he should have inherited more than he got.

Although Gail is not a probate attorney, she does agree to investigate for old times sake. Much to her surprise, she learns that not only was the will forged, but many prominent people in Miami were involved in the forgery and cover up. To top it off, Patricks aunt did not die a natural death, she was murdered and Patrick is the number one suspect!

Gail pushes on, eventually involving her present lover, Anthony Quintana. It is a good thing that Quintana, a criminal attorney, is on board, for after several more deaths it becomes obvious that Patrick will need more than a probate lawyer.

Complex and totally involving, SUSPICION OF GUILT is one top flight read. The action never flags, and the reader will be hooked from the very first sentence. The story steadily builds in pace to an unforgettable, explosive climax.
