SWEET MAGIK

This book starts with a crazy premise and it just gets wackier as it goes. Kiana and Oskar are completely mismatched — she is an island girl turned serious career woman and he is the son of Santa Claus. But every time they are together, magic happens. Unfortunately the hero and heroine’s romance arc is interrupted by a secondary plot involving elves, which slows down the story’s momentum. Nonetheless, despite the story's sometimes awkward pacing and outlandish plot, there are some surprisingly sweet moments. Sweet Magik will surely help readers get into the Christmas spirit, at least those readers that are willing to suspend disbelief and go along for a ride to the North Pole.
When Oskar, the youngest son of St. Nicholas, is not busy managing elf resources at the North Pole, he is a snowboarder, avid book lover and ladies' man. With his wild colored hair and assortment of tattoos, Oskar has “bad boy” written all over him. Kiana Grant meets Oskar at a holiday party and immediately knows that he is not for her. After her last horrendous break up, she is not looking for another man — even if music plays every time Oskar is near her. But there’s not a lot of time for Oskar and Kiana to reflect on their differences. There are problems brewing at the North Pole that have Oskar racing back home. Unexpectedly, Kiana hitches a ride on his sleigh and after she learns about the trouble, she can’t just go home. Kiana quickly learns that Oskar is not the playboy she thought he was; instead he's responsible and caring. But will Kiana be able help him end the danger that threatens his family?
