Schoolteacher Kate Dysart confronts the life choices she's made when an old crush returns home. Alasdair Drummond wonders what has caused Kate to give up her dreams of being a brilliant physicist in order to teach school in a village. It's a mystery he's determined to get to the bottom of, and one that he'll enjoy now that the girl he once knew has blossomed into a beautiful woman. SWEET SURRENDER (2) is the latest installment of Catherine George's The Dysarts. While there's not too much excitement, and the pace is a tad slow, this story is entertaining, with lovely characters and an interesting storyline.
