by Genell Dellin

Genre: Contemporary Romance, General Contemporary Romance
Sensuality: MILD

RT Rating

Dellin’s second story involving the folks of Honey Grove is a heartwarming romance featuring two main characters whose journey to maturity is well-drawn. Readers will particularly love Lilah, Meredith’s formidable grandmother, whose matchmaking efforts are both wonderful and unobtrusive. Watching Lilah’s political fight against new zoning laws is captivating.

Meredith Briscoe has come home to see her grandmother Lilah at Honey Grove Farm in Rock Springs, Texas. Abandoned by her mother at 14, Meri is now done with law school and starts running a restaurant along with Lilah and Caleb Burkett, Honey Grove Kitchens. Lilah has high hopes for the developing romance between Cale and Meri. However, Meri’s past makes it very hard for her to trust Cale, especially since he’s a man who never thought he would be tied down. It’s not long until a mistake on his part puts their whole relationship in jeopardy, while Lilah fights to keep Rock Springs a quiet town of small farms and ranches.
