SWEET TEXAS DREAMS
by Dana Ransom

Genre: Historical Romance
Setting: Texas, 1880s

RT Rating

Dana Ransom continues her fabulous Bass Family Chronicles with this wonderful new addition.

Rebecca (Becca) Bass is the least likely member of the Bass family to take on a challenge. She has spent her life listening to her mother's tales of New York City society while living with the rough-and-tumble Bass family.

When Morgan Daniels appears at the front door looking for her father, Becca cannot believe her good fortune. Since her father, a legendary tracker, is injured and unable to help Morgan, Becca decides it is time to follow in her father's footsteps and help Morgan free his father from kidnappers.

On the harrowing trek they share many romantic interludes, and when Becca returns, her reputation is in shreds. With nothing to lose, Becca follows Morgan to New York.

While in the city she stays with her mother's family and enters society. She is also forced to face the demons of her father's family, who are closely woven with Morgan's. Her parents arrive to help and the climax of this romance is absolutely stunning. All I can say is Becca Bass is one "heeva" West Texas woman!

SWEET TEXAS DREAMS is great; a spectacular read. Dana Ransom hits the bull's eye and readers are in for a real treat! SENSUAL (Dec., 352 pp., $4.99)
