This controversial teacher/student love story is a success. The narration is impeccable, like a friend telling you the story. It’s a gripping account of an atypical, bittersweet romance.

Fifteen-year-old Isabel develops a crush on her swim coach, Tom, who’s more than twice her age and married with children. Once he confesses he also has feelings for her, a risqué relationship develops. Isabel matures, all the while betraying her friends, family and even the law. Can she convince the world that age doesn’t matter? (SWEETESTTABOOBOOK.COM, Sep., 205 pp., $14.95, ISBN: 9781478136811, PB, 14 & Up)
