In the second installment of the Whitfield Brides trilogy, we're treated to a keeper of a love story. Ethan's secret could have been explored more fully, but this is still a great read. Part three is set up for a satisfying conclusion.

Faith, who supplies wedding cakes and favors to Signature Bridals, meets Ethan when she's hired to provide the desserts for his cousin's birthday party. Neither is looking for long-term commitment, but their shared passion shows that love cannot be denied. However, these lovers are big proponents of trust, and Ethan's got a secret about the extent of his business acumen. (Kimani/Arabesque, Jul., 298 pp., $6.99)
