Fans of Glee or those nostalgic for Fame will likely get a kick out of Take a Bow. The novel follows four aspiring artists, told in alternating chapters, as they enter their senior year. It’s a fun, fast-paced read with plenty of humor, friendship, backstabbing and empathy.

Set within a creative arts school in New York, two song composers, a singer and an actor navigate the competitive waters in their final year of school. Friends Emme and Sophie are drifting apart, although ambitious Sophie knows that Emme’s songwriting skills are her ticket to fame. Ethan is coming to terms with his breakup from his longtime girlfriend and trying to deal with feelings for Emme; and child actor Carter is realizing that acting may no longer be the right choice for him.
