Claire Parker is back in West Virginia following a bitter divorce. At Heavenly Springs Stables, she finds comfort from Willow, a special horse mending from abuse, and the two form an immediate bond. Dr. Tim Arbuckle, the thoroughbred mare’s veterinarian, enters Claire’s life as Willow’s health rapidly declines. Tim and Claire grow closer as they try and save Willow. Handsome, strong and sensitive, Tim hides the fact that he may never love again after the death of his wife. But Claire easily raises feelings Tim thought were long gone.
