TAKING A SHOT
by Jaci Burton

Genre: Erotic Romance, Contemporary Erotic Romance

For this third Play-by-Play entry, there’s no shortage of volatile, steamy sex, but the story development is the key to this thoughtful tale. While the heroine figures her life out, the reader will enjoy the smokin’ hot sex that draws the protagonists together — over and over again.

Jenna Riley knows two things: She is destined to run her family’s sports bar and if she does fall in love, it will definitely not be with an athlete. With two superstar brothers, in baseball and football, Jenna thinks that the problem is with the men — not her. Hockey star Tyler Anderson is determined to change her mind (and heart). His family may have been dysfunctional but his head is screwed on right and he knows what he wants. He waits for Jenna to realize that her dreams for her future are as valid as her brothers’ and she just needs the self-confidence in her own talent to pursue her goal. (HEAT, Mar., 322 pp., $15.00)
