TALKING ABOUT MY BABY (2) from Margot Early is the tale of a bold midwife and rugged doctor, each bearing emotional scars, who together find contentment until differing views on medical issues endanger their precarious relationship. In spite of markedly well-drawn characters and profound passion, heavy medical jargon and jarring images overshadow the romance portion of the story.
