New York EMT Rafe is vacationing in San Diego. Suffering from insomnia, he realizes his job is in danger. His next-door neighbor, PR person Joy, is driven to succeed and has no time for a personal life, but hot, erotic dreams torture her at night. Joy doesn't realize she's talking out loud, revealing her passion and keeping Rafe awake through their open windows. His natural inclination to help, and his attraction, draws them together, in part because of their sleeping problems. Rafe's warm, caring personality is perfectly developed, and a strong secondary plot adds to Talking in Your Sleep ... (4) by Samantha Hunter.
