TALL, DARK AND RECKLESS
TALL, DARK AND RECKLESS (2) by Heather Macallister: Piper Scott is the Dating Doc, a web columnist and businesswoman with a knack for evaluating people’s personalities and behavior. Mark Banning, a hard-hitting journalist, is the biggest draw for Piper’s website — until recently. Nevertheless, the two are attracted to one another and embark on a relationship while Piper tries to find Mark a partner to join him on his next assignment so he will stop breaking laws and getting arrested. Characters aside, everything else about this book is pretty obnoxious and unrealistic, from the business of the competing websites, to the “Piper Plan” web property — and even Mark’s disastrous style of journalism.
