TAMING THE BROODING CATTLEMAN
TAMING THE BROODING CATTLEMAN (3) by Marion Lennox: When IT specialist Jack Connor takes over the family ranch in the Australian outback, he feels like a fish out of water. One of his first actions is to hire a new veterinarian. When Alex Patterson, the recently graduated veterinarian and “son” of an employee turns out to be female, Jack realizes that he is in way over his head. (Alex’s father suffers from Alzheimer’s and forgets that she is female.) The characters have well-developed stories, but the opening pace is slow, and the confusion over Alex’s identity doesn’t ring true.
