Lord Anthony Northrup enjoys his
life with his companions at the Odd Sock Hunt Club. He certainly has no immediate plans to marry. Though known for his expertise in handling
difficult horses, his skill goes by the
wayside when a breeches-clad female gallops his way.

Tessa Seaton comes to his aid,
calming a skittish horse that broke free. Tessa has a way with horses and is a masterful rider, and Anthony admires this lovely young woman and her skill.

But something's going on with the sale of horses at the Seaton stables, and it involves Tessa's uncle. Anthony and his friends decide to investigate—for at all costs he wants to protect the woman who's beginning to change his mind about love and marriage.

This charming and entertaining love story, with its nice overview of hunt clubs and riding to hounds, is ideal for the horsewoman in all of us. SENSUAL (Sep., 384 pp., $5.99)
