Adopted by notorious bandito Juan Ramirez after the death of her parents, Antonie Neuman becomes Antonie Ramirez. Petite, blonde and green-eyed, she does not look like your typical Mexican outlaws child, but she is in spirit.

Upon Juans death Antonie fulfills a promise to him. She goes to assist his ally Royal Bancroft, to help him keep his ranch and family safe from Raoul, Juans bitter enemy. Antonie arrives at the ranch with Tomas and Oro, twins who act as her bodyguards, but are also her best friends.

The attraction between Royal and Antonie hits like a blazing prairie wild fire. Unable to resist each other, they give in to their passions.

Their passions grow, but their relationship is fraught with problems, including a battle to save the ranch. They have very different backgrounds and Antonies strong will confounds Royal until he almost loses her.

A TASTE OF FIRE is filled with passion and adventure. Hannah Howell writes wonderful repartee between characters. The touching secondary romance will capture many readers attention. Fans of Ms. Howell, who may have missed this the first time, will want to snatch up this story while they have the chance. SENSUAL (Reissue, May, 448 pp., $5.99)
