Wedding musician Jasmine Delaney discovers a dead body covered in barbeque sauce in the bathroom of her hotel. The bride's brother, Derrick Rogers, investigates the apparent murder with Jazzy as his unlikely partner. Danger becomes their ever-present companion as the murderer remains at large. A Taste of Murder (4) is a delightful read. While Derrick's sister's wedding may have brought the pair together, the feelings that develop are enough
to keep them together beyond the I dos. Virginia Smith dishes up strong characters, a viable plot and a warm, effective conclusion.
