Book Review

TO TEASE A TEXAN
by Georgina Gentry

Genre: Historical Romance
Setting: 1890s Oklahoma Territory

RT Rating

Gentry continues the Panorama of
the Old West series by throwing Lark and Larado together when Lark gets caught up in a bank robbery, pulled by Larado and the infamous cardsharp, Snake.

Months later, still on the run and believing that she's wanted for bank robbery, Lark decides to become the mail-order bride of the sheriff of Rusty Spur, Texas. What better place to hide than as the wife of an upstanding man? But Lark is in for a surprise, for her groom is Larado. But the danger isn't in what they're trying to hide from the townsfolk, it's what to do when Snake arrives for a showdown with Larado.

This sweet pair of lovers bumbles their way through to success, all the while surrounded by a cast of archetypal friends and enemies (and hat-wearing donkeys!). This is a good read for devoted fans. SENSUAL (Mar., 380 pp., $6.99)
