After a slow start, this becomes an intriguing love story with steamy love scenes. Lighter moments of bantering between the couple and their friends make it a page turner. If you didn’t read Possess Me, which started the voodoo series, Tempt Me will entice you to do so.
Angelique Rousseau is fascinated with Gabriel Toussaint Giodarno but his tortured existence won’t allow anyone to get close to him. He also has the pesky spirit of Emmanuel constantly by his side. Gabriel can’t figure out what Emmanuel wants him to do or what his special gift might be. Letting Angelique into his world may put her in danger. But letting her go isn’t an option, either.
