Olivia Hammond is on a mission to clear her dead husbands name. Olivia believes she is being blackmailed for money her husband supposedly received after the armored truck he was driving was hijacked, so she turns to private eye Clifton Zayne for help.

Olivia has done quite well for herself. Despite her issues with her weight, she now owns a successful spa business, and she is putting two kids through college. Her love life is lacking and Clifton is just the man to fill all her needs.

As the couple works together to find the culprit behind the blackmail, love blooms, and Olivia realizes its time to put the past to rest and open herself to the love of a lifetime.

Ms. Poarchs tender touch with moving on after the loss of a love is remarkable. (Jan., 250 pp., $5.99)
