Agreeing to escort a touring author as
a favor to a friend brings phys-ed teacher Tabitha Tyler nothing but aggravation. Dr. Alex Myerson is cantankerous at worst and contrary at best. But he does have charm, and Tabitha is susceptible to it. Alex, however, is a still-grieving widower, and he's not ready to be attracted to Tabitha, but he is anyway. Judy Christenberry continues Lone Star Brides with The Texan's Suite Romance (3), a fast-moving, occasionally amusing story with a simple, straightforward plot. Though Alex seems overly abrasive at times, he's redeemed eventually.
