TEXAS CINDERELLA (3) by Victoria Pade: Overhearing a conversation between Dr. Tate McCord and his brother pays dividends for fledgling TV reporter Tanya Kimbrough. It nets her an exclusive on the notorious McCord family -- if she keeps quiet for the time being. But spending time with Tate is dangerous, because Tanya's susceptible to his charms -- and he's currently unattached after years in an on-again, off-again relationship. Tate's sure that's finally over, but convincing Tanya is another matter. An interesting plot and slightly tortured Tate are the best things about this story. But there's little action, and the blooming of Tate and Tanya's "forever love" feels rushed.
