A ranch owner struggling to get by is offered a chance to get his business going again, but to do so would require working with the woman he blames for a friend's death. She's trying to stand on her own and start a horse training business, while keeping a secret too personal for her to share. Despite slow pacing, THE TEXAS WAY (3) is a story rich in emotion, and Jan Freed gives readers characters they can truly care about.
