THEIR FIRST NOEL (4.5) by Annie Jones: Andy McFarland’s attempt to restore the Snowy Eaves Inn is a lost cause until Corrina Bennington shows up. Though Corrie is in town to find the father she never knew, she also needs Andy’s help designing a gingerbread replica of the inn for a contest she entered. Andy needs a plan for everything and doesn’t want anyone’s help. He fights his attraction to the effervescent Corrie, who prefers to take things one day at a time. This is a delightful story of opposites attracting, and the lessons the characters learn are ones that readers will empathize with.
