Ten years ago, bad boy Luke Banning left Trillium Island and Ali Conlan without a backward glance. Though she pretends she's gotten over him -- even to herself -- Ali's never loved anyone else. So when her family suggests she ask Luke, now a self-made millionaire, to invest in their resort, Ali has to deal with Their Unfinished Business (4) -- ready or not. Having Luke around again isn't easy; neither is knowing that it's temporary. Jackie Braun's second installment of The Conlans of Trillium Island takes a fresh approach to a classic plot, succeeding because the characters' motivations ring true, which in turn makes their reunion sweet and believable.
