Book Review

THEN AND ALWAYS
by Dani Atkins

Genre: Mainstream, General Mainstream Fiction

RT Rating

Sweet and poignant, Atkins’ latest novel unfolds beautifully and will touch readers deeply. If one can suspend a bit of disbelief about what is happening, the way things come together in the end is heartfelt, gorgeous and completely believable.

Rachel Wiltshire’s life is changed in a moment when she is the victim of a tragic accident that takes the life of a dear friend and scars her both mentally and physically. Rachel attends a reunion of those involved in the accident and ends up falling down ... and wakes up in another life. She remembers everything that happened before and none of this new life. How can Rachel reconcile what she believes is true with what she is currently experiencing? (BALLANTINE, May, 320 pp., $15.00)
