Image of Then Came You (An Animal Magnetism Novel)

Shalvis has created yet another masterpiece where the animals have just as much personality as the main characters. The author displays her writing talent without shame in this novel. The romance practically drips off the pages, and the spice factor has just enough heat to make you blush. This one will make readers laugh, swoon and shut the world out until the end nears.

Intern Emily Stevens is traveling to Sunshine, Idaho, to fulfill her veterinary school scholarship requirement. She’s supposed to be en route to L.A., but she decided that caring for her mother was more important, and now she’s stuck in the middle of nowhere for an entire year. She walks into the office and her jaw drops when she realizes that her smoking hot one-night stand from a conference three months ago will be her new boss. Dr. Wyatt Stone tries to explain that her work ethic and academics landed her the position, not her good looks. Emily gets to learn a little more about Wyatt and falls hard, but is it enough to give up her plans to move to California? (BERKLEY, Jul., 304 pp., $7.99)
