THEN COMES LOVE
Then Comes Love (3), by Candice Poarch, has the potential to be a powerful story. But her characters could use more depth, and providing more of their vital history would help to better explain their actions. Jasmine Brown is an equine veterinarian who has relocated to be closer to her sperm donor McKenzie Avery's family. She's also running from her mother and the stepfamily that mistreated her as a child. Drake Whitcomb is a small-animal veterinarian in the same practice and happens to be best friends with Jasmine's most evil stepsibling, Steven. Although Drake is attracted to Jasmine, and she to him, his friendship with Steven causes problems with their relationship. Can they learn how to better deal with all their relationships?
