Book Review

This is not a lighthearted adventure story; this is a novel about survival. As the protagonists deal with insanity, death and utter despair, the complete hopelessness of their situation makes it more compelling, and the bond that they form all the more real.

Lilac LaRoux is the closest thing the universe has to a princess. Tarver Merendsen is a war hero from an entirely different social stratosphere. The two have nothing in common, but when their spaceliner crashes, they must rely on each other to survive. As their chances of rescue grow smaller and smaller, they begin to wonder if there are worse fates than spending their lives together and exploring the strange planet on which they have landed.
