This has all the makings of a great book, but the story feels rushed because the hero and heroine end up on the same page too quickly. Their feelings for each other seem forced, and it's hard to buy into it. More interaction between the two before they realize they're meant to be together would have helped. The mystery is good, but it's too easily solved.

Talia Thorn has been made into a werewolf, a beast her father loathes, and she's determined to find a cure. But first she must slip past the bully of a bodyguard her father hired -- even if the guard is hot. Miko Bastian's idea of doing his job does not include babysitting a society girl. He would rather be chasing the rogue werewolves who are causing trouble for his pack. Miko is all set for a boring assignment when the girl slips through his werewolf paws and takes off. That's when the real adventure begins. (, dl $4.45)
