Book Review

A THREAD OF TRUTH
by Marie Bostwick

Genre: Mainstream, General Mainstream Fiction

RT Rating

Bostwick's characters from New Bern continue to grow and ring true as she introduces new characters to the group. Bostwick brings light to social issues, with a very satisfying storyline.

Cobbled Court Quilts is in its second year and starting to become
a household name in New Bern, Conn. When Ivy Peterman comes to town and is hired by Evelyn Dixon to work at the shop, all seems well. But little does the close- knit quilting circle know how much Ivy's past and her lies will affect them all. When Ivy's abusive husband finds her, New Bern will no longer be the sweet, sleepy town it has been. (KENSINGTON, Jun., 335 pp., $15.00)
