RT Rating

Gutsy grandmother and cancer survivor Hannah Ives tries to solve a most disturbing mystery -- the kidnapping of her young grandson. Talley's writing flows rapidly, and her well-developed characters are never overshadowed by the mounting suspense. This author is quickly making a name for herself as a superior mystery writer.

Hannah's daughter,
Emily, and her husband, Dante,
are opening a spa near Hannah's home in Annapolis, Md. When their infant son, Timmy, is abducted from
the spa's nursery, his parents are inconsolable. So amateur sleuth Hannah begins following a woman
she thinks may have taken Timmy. Though the police and FBI are investigating the kidnapping, Hannah may just solve the crime before they do. (Avon, Sep., 272 pp., $6.99)
