Shelby Jackson is part owner of a small NASCAR racing team. Her grandfather owns the other half, and he's making noises that he'd like to retire. Enter international soccer star Mick Churchill, who wants to buy into the team to settle a bet. Shelby, predictably, doesn't want to sell any part of the team, and the two butt heads in Thunderstruck (3), by Roxanne St. Claire. This is the much-used premise of the hero and heroine fighting while also falling in love at the same time. While it's pleasant enough, there's nothing that makes it stand out from similar stories.
