With plenty of suspense and sexual tension, this novel catches the reader's attention and doesn't let go. The building suspense and the number of suspects keep the action lively, and the story comes to a satisfactory climax.

It's been 15 years since Adam has seen Risa, his friend's little sister. Once a child, she's now a beautiful woman. After their chance meeting on a plane to Denver, the two discover the dead body of Adam's stepsister in Risa's home. Even as evidence piles up against her, Adam becomes increasingly confident she didn't kill the woman -- and more attracted to her.

When another person is murdered and Risa's home is ransacked, it appears someone wants to frame her. Who and why is what they must discover before Risa is convicted of murder or the real murderer strikes again. (Amber Quill, Jun., 213 pp., $13.50)
