Book Review

by Barbara Cameron

Genre: Inspirational, Contemporary Romance

RT Rating

Cameron’s second Quilts of Lancaster County novel mixes romance with a bit of suspense and a good dose of the rules of conduct among Amish women. You will want to curl up in a quilt while the Bontrager family seeks clarity about unexpected trials they are facing.

Christopher Marshall seeks spiritual direction while he reconnects with Hannah, who he met in the hospital. When he visits her and her husband, he envies their happiness and longs to be part of a family. Then he meets Hannah’s sister-in-law, Rebecca, and despite the clash of cultures between the military man and the Amish woman, there’s something between them. (ABINGDON, Mar., 285 pp., $13.99)
