TOO WILD TO HOLD
TOO WILD TO HOLD (2) by Julie Leto: Private investigator Claire has her hands full: not only must she locate a woman who’s skipped town on her husband and children, but a serial rapist is after Claire, too. Special agent Michael is assigned to protect Claire — against her will — and a sexual attraction sparks immediately. Though the writing is competent, it doesn’t always make up for sloppy storytelling. Among other issues, it is hard to get past Claire letting the person she’s been vigilantly tracking leave her sight without signing paperwork simply because she forgot to bring a pen.
