TOUCH AND GO (4.5) by Michelle Rowen: Carrie Stanfield and Patrick McKay are psychic agents with PARA who fall in love — OK, lust — at first sight. An accident impairs Patrick’s ability to control his psychic powers and when he touches anyone, including Carrie, the person’s emotions and thoughts are too painful for him to handle. Rowen spices things up with a vengeful goddess and a deserted island in the Bahamas. The paranormal elements are spelled out for new readers, so newcomers shouldn’t have any trouble keeping up with the characters and the action.
